The SSL  certificate is provided by Verisign – a global leader in digital security solutions  while data is transmitted through encrypted HTTPS connection. This means that the entire communication between the client and the server is encrypted using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol, which protects the operation by preventing any attempts at intercepting and/or modifying the data.
